Frequently Asked Questions
Get quick answers to the most frequently asked questions about our services and platform.
- Who should be included in a team assessment?
We recommend including:
- The team leader
- Their direct reports
- Individuals who work very closely with the team on a regular basis
This typically results in teams of 5-10 people, which produces the clearest and most actionable insights.
- What about people who aren’t formally part of the team but work closely with them?
In some cases, it makes sense to include closely aligned individuals, even if they don’t sit directly within the team structure.
Examples include:
- A Sales Development Representative (SDR) who works closely with a Sales team
- An Executive Assistant who is deeply embedded in a leadership team
- A key partner or role that interacts with the team daily
If someone:
- Regularly attends team meetings
- Is affected by the team’s ways of working
- Contributes meaningfully to outcomes
…it may be worthwhile including them in the assessment.
When in doubt, ask:
“Is this person meaningfully part of how this team functions?”
- How should Grozaic be used across multiple teams or layers?
In multi-team or larger organizations, Grozaic is most effective when used in layers, not all at once.
A common and recommended approach is:
- Leader + direct reports complete an assessment together.
- Those direct reports then act as leaders of their own teams.
- Each team completes a separate assessment focused on their own working relationships.
This allows you to:
- Pinpoint challenges at the right level
- Compare patterns across teams
- Avoid confusion about where issues are originating
- Create clearer, more targeted development actions
- Can Grozaic be used to assess dynamics between two teams?
Yes — Grozaic can be used to explore the dynamics between two closely connected teams, as long as the assessment is intentionally designed and clearly framed.
For example, if a Sales team and a Marketing team are experiencing challenges in how they work together, both teams can be included in a single assessment, provided the context is set appropriately.
In this case:
- Count all individuals across both teams when purchasing licenses
- Label the assessment clearly (e.g. Sales & Marketing – Shared Ways of Working)
- Set the assessment context to focus on how the two teams collaborate, communicate, and execute together, rather than on internal team dynamics alone.
This approach works best when the two teams:
- Interact regularly
- Share dependencies or handoffs
- Experience friction or misalignment in day-to-day work
- Can Grozaic be used at offsites or in-person sessions?
Yes. Grozaic can be used as part of live, in-person facilitated sessions, including team offsites or leadership gatherings.
In these cases, we’ll work with you to design the right approach and either deliver the session through our team or connect you with one of our certified and preferred partners, depending on your needs and location.
- Can our internal leaders facilitate Grozaic sessions?
Yes.
Enterprise organizations often choose to certify internal leaders, HR partners, or facilitators so they can confidently interpret results and run team conversations themselves.
Certification ensures consistency and quality of delivery.
- Do you support global organizations?
Yes.
Grozaic works with organizations across multiple regions and time zones.
Enterprise programs can be designed to support regional rollouts, global leadership teams, or cross-functional groups.
- How long does the assessment take?
Most participants complete the assessment in 15-20 minutes.
Because the assessment focuses on how teams actually work together, responses are typically quick and intuitive.
- Is the assessment anonymous?
Yes.
Individual responses are completely confidential and anonymous.
The report presents aggregated insights at the team level, ensuring that individual responses cannot be identified.
- What happens after we get in touch?
Once we receive your inquiry, we’ll schedule a short conversation to understand:
- your organization structure
- how many teams you’re looking to assess
- what outcomes you want to achieve
From there, we’ll design a tailored proposal aligned with your goals.
- Do I need to stop using other tools to partner with Grozaic?
No. Grozaic is designed to complement, not replace, the tools and approaches you already use.
Many partners continue to work with personality tools, 360s, engagement surveys, and other diagnostics. Grozaic adds a performance-focused lens that helps translate insight into action, particularly at the team and leadership level.
- Can I bundle Grozaic into my existing services?
Yes.
Many partners integrate Grozaic into their current offerings, such as:
- Leadership development programs
- Team workshops and offsites
- Coaching engagements
- Culture or performance initiatives
Grozaic provides a strong diagnostic foundation that can enhance the impact of your work and create clearer focus for development conversations.
